Welcome to Twist of Fate Travel!

Hi, I’m Thuy (Twee), author and owner of Twist of Fate Travel. Why did I choose this name for my travel blog? Years ago, my husband, Troy, and I met as college interns in Washington, DC! By a twist of fate, two college students, attending universities in different states, met on the Metro in Washington, DC. When you travel and open yourself up to possibilities, anything can happen!

Growing up, I lived in Hawaii, New Jersey, and California. After getting married, we lived in Arizona and Indiana. Today, Troy and I live in California with our two children. We enjoyed international travels before having kids and now that our kids are older, we instill the excitement of making travel memories as a family. I delight in travel planning and I started this travel blog to document my travel experiences for family, friends, and anyone with wanderlust. I’m also a certified travel advisor so I can help you with your vacation plans!
